About the Bacon Buddy Clip
Is the Bacon Buddy Clip food safe?
Yes! Even though its not designed to come into direct contact with food, it's made from food-grade, BPA-free polypropylene, the same material used in food storage containers and kitchen tools. It meets food safety standards and is safe for direct contact with food packaging.
What sizes of bacon does it fit?
It fits vacuum-sealed bacon packages up to 12.5 inches along the long sealed edge, which covers the vast majority of standard US bacon brands. It is not designed for bulk packages, or paper packaging you'd get from a butchers shop.
Can I use it for anything other than bacon?
It was designed specifically for bacon packages but also works on any similarly sized flexible packaging up to 12.5 inches. Customers have used it for deli meats, turkey bacon, plant-based bacon, snack bags, chip bags, jerky and similar products.
How long will it keep bacon fresh?
The clip closes the original packaging securely, which significantly slows air exposure and moisture loss compared to wrap or foil stored bacon. Bacon stored with the clip should last as long as properly sealed bacon typically would in your fridge. Follow standard food safety guidelines for opened bacon, generally 5–7 days refrigerated, but we have used bacon sealed with our clip for up to 10 days.
Is it BPA-free?
Yes, it's fully BPA-free and made from food-safe polypropylene throughout, though it never needs to come into contact with food when used properly.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
Hand wash only. The heat-transferred printed graphics will degrade over time in a dishwasher. Warm water and soap is all it needs.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free across the entire USA including Hawaii, Alaska and all US territories. Standard delivery takes 5–8 business days.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently only ship within the USA through our website.
How many can I order at once?
You can order up to 5 clips per order on our website due to shipping constraints. If you need more than 5 for gifting or wholesale, please contact us directly.
Can I order wholesale?
Yes, we supply the Bacon Buddy Clip to independent retailers at wholesale pricing. Get in touch through our contact page and we'll send over wholesale information.
What is your return policy?
For the Bacon Buddy Clip, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery for items in unused condition and in original, unopened packaging. Some items are made to order so are not eligible for return or refund, this will be clearly stated on the product page. If something isn't right with your order, contact us first. What if my clip arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, contact us immediately with a photo of the damage and your order number. This will help us to promptly assess the issue and take the necessary steps to make it right for you.
